The PDT1.3 is a compact 1.3MP USB digital microscope camera, designed for use as an eyepiece camera. The camera is made to fit standard 23mm ocular or photo ports, but it can also be used with 30mm or 30.5mm ports using the included adapters. The USB2.0 interface is used to connect and power the camera and allows for faster and more convenient data transmission.
The PDT1.3 camera is plug-and-play compatible on most platforms, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. The included Windows software offers measurement, image-stitching, extended-depth-of-focus and has the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications. For Mac and Linux, the software is able to capture video and still images, and offers exposure control, color adjustment and measurement tools.
